Just the drive up to Shenandoah Lodge will take your breath away. At first sight, you will see the beautifully landscaped gardens that surround your elegant home away from home. Towering over Gatlinburg’s only lake at Buena Vista Estates, Shenandoah Lodge offers fantastic views from the two large patios that overlook the small lake. The patios also overlook Shenandoah’s private pool with a covered sitting area to get away from the sun.
 

As you walk around the front of the house, you will pass the hot tub that sits underneath a covered porch and is big enough for 6 of your closest friends. The large hot tub is located here and is perfect for relaxing and taking in the beautiful setting.  Upon entering Shenandoah Lodge, you will feel as if you have stepped back in time, walking into a lovely Victorian mansion. On the bottom level, you will find one of the game rooms, a sitting area, a private suite with a fireplace and a master bathroom decorated lavishly by marble floors and countertops. You will also find a two-person Jacuzzi tub, walk-in closet and a combination shower/steam room that is fit for a king and his queen.

From the bottom level, you will now stroll up the grand staircase to the main level. Here you find a true gourmet kitchen with stainless steel commercial appliances, complete with an indoor grill, restaurant stove, and flat iron griddle. Everything the experienced chief in your party will need to prepare excellent cuisine.  There will be ample seating for you and your guest at the two dining tables and the dining room room's leaded glass French doors open onto another large covered balcony with outdoor dining table and 6 rocking chairs.  Imagine... your meal is complete and now you have retired to the balcony your friends to share stories and quiet moments listening to bird song serenades.

As you walk into the living room, you will find yourself nestled in the elegant décor as you enjoy sitting by the stone fireplace. If you are in the mood for entertainment, then step down into the gentleman’s quarters where you will find a big screen television, stereo system, pool table and comfy leather furniture to relax and snuggle up by a roaring fire.
 

This  half bath is accessed from the
game room and is remarkable by
virtue of the hand painted winter wilderness mural that encircles you.
 

The hand painted mural in the Aquarium Bedroom will astound you.  The lucky guests  staying in  this  suite  will  be fascinated and delighted by the marvelous "under the sea"  vista that  surrounds  them on every wall of this bedroom.




 

There is a 2 night minimum year around.  Holidays & Special Events may
have a 3 or more  night minimum.    Since arrival dates vary, shorter
stays may be available.
